All cards are delivered via email.

Please buy AT LEAST 1 DAY BEFORE the funds will be used. Same-day is OK if you can print the email and send it with the student. (Print-out Is NOT required.)

Balances cannot be refunded. They are redeemable online mijabooks.com, at future MiJa Books events, or can be donated to your school.

If purchasing for a STUDENT

  1. For the "Recipient name": Type in both the STUDENT NAME & SCHOOL NAME (e.g., “MICHAEL SMITH – CHAVEZ ELEMENTARY”).
  2. For the "Recipient email": Use an email you can access.
  • To help the book fair volunteers/staff, please print a copy of the email gift card for the student to bring with them to the fair. The full gift card number must be visible.
  • No printer? MiJa Books staff will share the gift card information with the book fair coordinator.

If purchasing for a TEACHER

  1. For the "Recipient name": Type in both the TEACHER NAME & SCHOOL NAME (e.g., “MS. ORTIZ – CHAVEZ ELEMENTARY”).
  2. For the "Recipient email": Enter the teacher’s email. If unknown, send to info@mijabooks.com and MiJa Books staff will ensure it reaches the teacher.
  • You may add a personal gift note in the "Personal Message" section.
