About the Author: Sharifa Anozie is a speaker, entrepreneur, and 2x best-selling author of It’s In You and Sibling Love. A graduate of Penn State University, she holds a B.A. in Journalism with distinction from the College of Communications. As a mom of two, she writes stories that encourage, inspire and promote diversity.

Cindy Montenegro is the author of My Mind is a Mountain (published by Lil’ Libros) and a mental health therapist from Paramount, California. Her imagination is influenced by her childhood memories, love of the outdoors, and passion for mental health. Cindy hopes that her writing will inspire readers to celebrate all of their emotions, no matter how big or small they may be! This is her first children’s book.

Naibe Reynoso is a Mexican-American Multi-Emmy award-winning journalist based in Los Angeles California. She is also a speaker and author.
She has worked and contributed to various regional, national and international networks including KTLA, France 24, Univision Network, Reelz Channel, CNN en Español, the Biography Channel, Fox News Latino, Larry King’s ORA TV, and has even filled in as a co-host on ABC’s “The View”. She also co-created “The TRENDTalk,” a one-hour talk show and co-founded the events company Latinafest LLC which has produced over a dozen successful events in the Los Angeles Area.
In 2018 she created Con Todo Press.

Their first book, “Be Bold, Be Brave: 11 Latinas who made U.S. History,” highlights 11 women who excelled in medicine, science, sports, the arts, journalism and politics. Their mission is to keep producing books told from an authentic and relatable perspective, that will bridge the gap between communities of color and media.
